Could you walk 10 or 21km to fundraise for Choices this January 2024?
Each year Choices supports over 400 people through our various services, we’re proud to be here for anyone affected by difficulties around pregnancy. That’s where you come in, you can be a part of our story.
You can walk to raise money for Choices so that we can tell more people across the UK about the services we offer. Every donation will be used to help us promote our projects and continue to provide emotional and practical support to all those who need it.
The LONDON WINTER WALK CHALLENGE is an event which invites over 3000 participants to walk from Putney across the 16 London bridges to finish at Tower Bridge this September. We need your help to continue supporting women across London and beyond.
WHEN IS IT?
8am on Saturday 27th January 2024 (or Sunday 28th January 2024) - starting at The Oval Cricket Ground in Vauxhall.
WHY WALK FOR CHOICES?
Choices began over 20 years ago when an Islington GP saw that many women were struggling through pregnancy dilemmas alone. She wanted to make a difference.
Since then, we have walked alongside thousands of people as they journey through difficult times. That doesn’t just include women, it includes partners, children, grandparents, friends, support workers and all those that might feel the impact of the many different issues that can arise during or after pregnancy. We need your help raising money so that we can continue to walk with anyone who is affected by these issues.
WHAT ARE THE DETAILS?
Choose your distance - 10km, 21km or 42km (26 miles) looped walk, starting & finishing at The Oval Cricket Ground in Vauxhall. The full route heads east along the Thames with a Rest Stop at Southwark Park for a welcome hot drink & snacks. Then it’s back along the north bank of the Thames for lunch at the Oval. The 2nd loop heads west – with Rest Stop in Parsons Green – and back to The Oval for a loud finish line welcome.
