Leaving a gift in your Will

  • “Leaving a gift in your Will, to Choices, protects women who seek safety and support during or after a pregnancy crisis. Once you have remembered your loved ones, please don’t forget about us”.

    Sophie Guthrie-Kummer, CEO Choices

Choices is a small, independent charity. We rely on grant-giving organisations and public donations to fund our work. We also receive some NHS funding to support our work in prisons.

The women that we work with have often been through traumatic experiences. Thanks to the generosity of people like you, we can offer a safe space to heal and the chance for women to rebuild their lives.

Your solicitor will ask you for the following information:

  • Charity Name: Choices Islington

  • Charity Number: 1124209

  • Address: 390 Caledonian Road, London, N1 1DN

There are a few types of gifts you can leave to a charity of your choice:

  • Residuary Bequest - A share of your estate. Once you’ve decided what you’re leaving to those closest to you, you could donate a share or all of what’s left to a charity or multiple charities.

  • Pecuniary Bequest - A specific sum of money. You may choose to leave a monetary gift to one charity or separate amounts to multiple charities.

  • A specific item – You could leave jewellery, heirlooms, or any items you think will be of some value when sold.

If you have remembered Choices in your Will, thank you! We would love to hear from you. This helps us plan for the future and allows us to thank you properly for your kindness.
