Turn your old books into cash donations with #Ziffit

The fourth of March is World Book Day which celebrates the power and positivity of books and reading. It’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate and raise cash for Choices.

Our partnership with Ziffit makes it easy, fast and free for you to turn your pre-loved books into donations. Spring clean your home with this easy way of getting rid of some of those old items you don't need any more - and their trade-in value will go towards supporting Choices!

#DeclutterandDonate #WorldBookDay?

What is it?

You can help support the work we do just by decluttering your own house! Clear out your old CDs, books, games and DVDs and this initiative will take them off you, then donate their trade value to charity. Think of it as giving away to a charity shop under lockdown conditions, but the value of your items is donated straight away.

How does it work?

You can donate any unwanted books, CDs, DVDs and games through trade-in site and app Ziffit, and 100% of the trade value will go directly to Choices. Contact-free collection is available from your front door – complying with social distancing guidelines.

How do I get involved?

Download the app:

1) Download the free app: Ziffitt from the App Store or Google Play

2) Scan or enter the barcode number or ISBN of your product and get an instant value

3) Complete the online trade and pack up your unwanted goods

4) Use Ziffit's free courier or drop-off service to send your items

5) Select 'Choices Islington' as your charity and the value of your items will be donated straight to our work!

6) Of course, if you have unwanted baby clothes or equipment, you can always donate those to our Boutique! Contact us.
